It's a mod for bf3 - http://theblue.co/freecam.php. You can see a little about how it works in daskro's video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jjPEAp-Kyo. Personally I think the videos generated with this tool are a bit off. The units' movement and camera tracking don't seem very smooth yet. But I suppose it's better than nothing.
As for the tournament,I too think 5v5 is the preferable game mode. CQ is more familiar to most around here.
And I'll sign up as a merc as well. I think there are enough to form a couple of teams depending on the decided tournament format.

I'm up for this, though I'd rather play 4v4 as myself and most of GC aren't used to playing 5v5. We play in 4 man squads on BD so that's what I'm used to.
