HELLO DOOM PEOPLE AND KITTEN PEOPLE. We are again united once more under the banner of GC. However, for one Saturday only, we will be separated for a short time.

That date is 6/1/2013. [CONFIRMED]

Hearing from the last few tournaments, and taking those into consideration, I’m making some changes this time around. Many players felt it was a little “unfair” to be knocked out of a tournament after just one game. And to alleviate this issue, we’ll be doing a double elimination tournament!

And due to time constraints, we’ll tackle this in one of two ways. The first is to have each “match” be only one round of games rather than a best of 3. This means that each team will have a chance to play offense and whichever side gets more MCOMs, will advance.

Secondly, I know a lot of players wanted to play with the “modded” spectator mode. I’m going to look further into doing this and see if the Execs, Senates, and TAs would be on board with that. But no promises!

Lastly... I want this to be a GC event. The last 2 tournaments had people from other communities join in. Although we’re always open to new people, I always felt that the GC tournament was something I wanted to set up for people that have been active within the community. So I decided to place some restraints on who can participate. You are qualified to join in the tournament if you have played in at least 5 battledays in the history of GC. I’ll be checking attendance sheets that each army has kept and try my best to enforce this.

If there is a huge outcry against this new policy, I’ll talk it over and change my mind. So please! Answer the poll!

As usual, there is a prize pool involved. Details of this will be announced later.

While I don't think I would participate anyways, by your rule Haruky of only people who've played 5 or more battledays, I would not even be qualified even though I've participated in 3 campaigns. I think I've only played 4 battledays Max, while participating in many Black Open days.

In regards to suggestions like this... KEEP EM COMING! There is a slight reason I called it just "tournament" rather than squad rush tournament in the title this time.

By your definition, I feel I would have been a higher ranking soldier due to my black ops attendance. I bet most people's definitions of battledays is the Saturday battles.
