I've been watching their livestream since I got home, and this just seems weird.

Commander mode, from an ipad?
5 man squads with a max of 64 players. Where do the leftover 2 players on each team go?
More destruction (skyscrapers)
No info on spectator mode.
Battlelog, presumably with no alternatives.

It's looking better, but I still feel like these are all just features that everyone wanted in bf3 that dice, for whatever reason, never implemented. It's almost like they withheld the features to make BF4 look even more appealing. Hey gais, remember all those things you wanted in bf3 but weren't there? Now you can have them in BF4!

Also, mirror's edge 2.

Can somebody explain to me what commander mode is and why it's so important? Also, if you hold shift, bf4 becomes BF$. (lol)

Fields, have you never played BF2 or 2142? Commander mode gives a player a tactical map overview to monitor squads and give out objectives, as well as call in for support like artillery or supply drops and such.

And screw all you guys. SW Battlefront.

It looks pretty awesome! I think they've added enough in the game to warrant a title of BF4 rather than just BF3.5 too.

Would be cool if the commander could see every pov. But I think its just the guys pov while in the commander mode?!

Nope, BF3 is the only BF game I've ever played. This all sounds like stuff that squad leaders or players already do. (set objectives, drop ammo, drop medpacks) What makes commander mode special besides playing from an ipad?
