But it would be a very good way to crush rez trains even more and it would give the recon class a slight buff.

You might as well just completely remove reviving then.

MAYBE if it's just headshots with bolt action sniper rifles.

although I like the idea because it would remove some of the "pray and spray" ideas from the game, I hope it doesn't happen. I just feel like it would be too hard to balance out. Medics already have the most sought after ability in the game (revives) on top of the 2nd most accurate (and best overall) weapons in the game, removing some of their revive ability only to make them better at taking tickets doesn't make sense to me.

Then there's the group that will argue that if you add headshots into the mix, then why not c4/rpgs/m320/etc because if you got a limb blown off or an rpg lodged in your chest cavity you shouldn't be able to be revived...etc and so forth.

I'm a fan of it being on knife kills though, I think that's fine. once you start adding in other weapons/kill types though it becomes another monster all together.

Well there are some serious morality issues to consider.

Not headshots, just possibility to gib the body. Shoot few more bullets into the body to make it un-reviveable. A balance between stopping a possible revive to wasting few more bullets and time.

do it like 42 - no rivive + only spawn on flags or base good for team play if you have to stay alive and get healing
only knife is a fun part, everyone will know "oh that one was knifed"
