Time to go forth and pub! I played a bit last night and was fairly stable, but I only played a couple obliteration rounds, not a great sample size.

Sounds like RocketBlast is getting good reviews from the EU folks. Juries still out in the US.

In the current state of the game, it's near impossible to tell lag/issues are server or game related.

It would seem to me the best options for a US server would be Atlanta, GA or NYC, NY. That's mostly from a geographical assessment. It doesn't always transfer over ping wise. Chicago and Dallas would appear not to offer a great ping to our Euro buddies.

My ideal requirements for a server provider would be:
  • -Very good stability
-Good pings for members of the opposite continent (100-125 average ideally)
-Great customer service (how fast do they respond to requests, 24/7 support)

basically 100-150 in ping are playable, the problem comes when the ping get over 150, most of the EU guys has a decent internet connection speed.

it is just swedes who has a extremely good line.

So what you NA guys need to do is to find a provider so we EU guys can ping it and see.

I suppose I don't need to tell you about stability

My server is hosted on NFO. It's incredibly stable, and no lag. Has only crashed once since launch.

Good to know, NFO has been decent for us in the past.

What about i3d.net ? Granted I have only played on their Dutch servers in pubs but I never had any issues with them (talking about bf3)
I dont know too much about the prices and their competition but private is a lot cheaper than ranked I noticed:

They have servers in Rotterdam, London and Frankfurt and I think these make sense for a location not too far away from the USA

As said yesterday from some people in charge, that the providers we tested yesterday will never be used again.
It's not the providers fault right now imo, it's just that DICE/EA hasn't fixed the servers for more than ~40 players yet.
32-player servers works like a charm and never crashes while obviously 64-player servers do.
