RE DLCs, wow I am always impressed if somebody is selling me the same ol' stuff telling me it is new. Can't wait to see that new map - wait what is it called Wake ... I want Iwo Yima back!!!
I want Omaha beach back! (but with a few more ways to the enemy base lol)

And let's not forget, from BF 2 the one and only STRIKE AT KARKAND

The moment they announced the DLC without that map something inside me died.

I literally cannot watch this stupid console gameplay. The absolutely unnatural movement just gives me motion sickness within 2-3 minutes of watching.

This means that the amount of change in terms of graphics/gameplay isn't really changed all that much besides some slight changes and addition of "levolution". It's a very big difference between a re-imagination of a game that was made 6 years ago and a game that was made 2 years ago.

I would have been perfectly fine with a re-imagination of some older BF2 maps rather than re-hashing something we saw just 2 years ago.
It's not the first time they've done this. BC2 had Oasis and Harvest Day from BC1 ported to it (they RUINED Harvest Day) and they were separated by a couple of years. Although admittedly, that was free iirc. To me, second assault should be the free with pre-order map dlc, not China rising. Especially, as you say, the majority who pre ordered BF4 will have been playing these maps for the last two years.

Edit: It is. It's from a DLC pack called "Second Assault".

I am also hoping for this day. There hasn't been a really well done WWII FPS using modern technology (unless you count the Red Orchestra games).

It's honestly a bit disappointing that the game industry abused the ish out of WW2 while we still had mediocre tech to the point where it seems most people don't want a WW2 game now that we could get a truly awesome one. Granted we have RO2/Rising Storm which I love the heck out of but I still wish there was a bit more.

@Razy - its a battle pickup.
you get one rocket and its not different from the RPG.
probably one of the worst pickups in the game.
