Importantly, this announcement does not mean a class-action lawsuit has officially been filed. Instead, the case needs a lead plaintiff to officially begin, who must come forward by the motion deadline in 60 days on February 15, 2014. At that point, a class-action lawsuit may be officially filed, but that remains to be seen.

so nothing is actually happening at this point.

edit: from my understanding of law, which is by no means expert, this is for the stockholders, not the game players. The stockholders are suing the company because the company execs used the marketing to hype the game before release and (allegedly, thus the illegal part) made false claims and hid real information in order to raise the stock price from that hype, knowing full well that the product would not live up to the expectations. They then sold their stock at game release all the while knowing the game was going to be received horribly because of the problems with the software and tank the stock (comparatively) due to the broken aspects of the game.
