maybe they should have thought of that when they released the vanilla game.
edit: after reading the article, it's only delayed for PC. which just points me towards believing even more they don't care about PC gaming anymore. It just proves they created the game as a console port, and failed at that. I'll believe they found a gamebreaking bug 3 hours before release when hell freezes over and pigs fly.
It´s more like once the files goes to Sony n Microsoft, theres no turning back point.
Things shouldnt be failing, but if they do, i dont see it´s bad them delaying it. What is kinda wrong is saying it hours prior to release, which tells me it really has to be some gamebreaking crap at this stage of the game.

Now that comes as a surprise, games need not only be released but also should have a working setup. Good ol'DICE, with the let-the-public-do-the-Alpha-testing, calling it "quality level".
With Naval Assault release the game is left in the hands of Dice LA and i think that means we can forget about any improvements to the mechanics. I think its just a modding team which won't be able to fix any of the real problems. On the other hand i've given up about this game ever reaching the broken state of BF3 anyway, so its not much of difference after all.

You might be wrong. If you look at cairdazar's post above, they did release the patch and only than realised it is TARFU.
So nothing new here from DICE/EA.

Of course Im wrong lol, as Necro said above, it's barely impossible for them to release a product to the market the way it should be released.
If one day DICE starts making cars, Im taking the metro for the rest of my life.

My interesting result might just be that my origin had not yet updated the new release status, and tried to download the installer that did not exist.
That particulate mess up might lay on the origin people.
