Ballistic Shields coming to BF 4

I only worry about the anti-air capabilities of the shield...maybe you can throw it with a laser-lock towards choppers?

Not incredibly concerned with it affecting gameplay. It is however yet another retarded gimmick that'll either be utterly useless or completely retardproof and overpowered. The entire concept of adding dumb crap like this is just shitting all over the basic FPS gameplay and we get less and less gunplay vs gunplay in the game. Simply based on that I don't want it in the game.

The last thing the game needs is more random crap that doesn't serve a purpose or have a proper and defined role. Stop adding dumb gadgets, remove them.

Once the novelty wore off, no one will use them. I can´t remember the last time i saw someone using the MP AMPS.

Not gonna lie, I loved running around with a riot shield in CoD soaking up bullets (while getting points for it!) and quick knifing anyone who dared to get too close. But with all the AV ordnance in BF, I agree with others who say it will probably be mostly useless. Except maybe in no explosive close quarter servers...

I just want my zip lines and grappling hooks from BF2:SF and I would be happy.

BF4 turns into a MMORPG.

well when you think about it...

-a level system based on experience from killing things and performing other actions for your team
-essentially a raid system with a "party" (squad) and a larger raid team (your full team)
-essentially a quest system in objective game modes and the assignments
-a gear grind
-a class system

...it all begins to make sense now. BF4 is the WoW FPS.
