Maybe the channel was just set to semi-perm instead of permanent. That means it gets removed when server restarts or crashes. It may have not been malicious

That's how it should be. Games that aren't played every single day must have a temp TS channel otherwise the tree is too cluttered.
And it couldn't be malicious, only server admins and possibly HC can delete them so they must have had a very good reason to do it.

Eastern Fronts mod is my favorite mod. Balances the AI much much better and adds Russians and no pop cap...awesome.
