Crysis vs. Tombraider

Post by sushi »

So together with my new computer I will get 2 game vouchers. On of them will be bioshock. For the other I can choose between Tombraider and Crysis. (the new ones of cause)

Now which should I choose, considering that aside of BF I will not have to deeply play any of them?

I will have to decide by tomorrow.

Honestly I think it is more of the style of game play.
FPS or TPS?

Or you could look at it this way, Crysis is kind of like a monsterbox sort of game, but you could have different ways to beat each level with tons of replayability.

Tombraider is a great game, GREAT GAME. The voice acting and the story is up-par. But there isn't really any replayability, you beat it and you are basically done with the game, there is no real decision choices that can change the outcomes of the game. And even though the game appear to be free roaming, it has the same linearity like Call of Duty or BF3 SPs. Because there are only 2 real ways to approach a combat situation guns blazing or arrows flying, there is ZERO means circling around avoiding enemies or flanking there.

I hope my mumbling help you make decisions.

Since we're not talking Crysis 1, I'd definitely go with Tomb Raider. It doesn't have a lot of replayability, but compared to another Micheal-Bay-shooter, I'd say it's the way to go.

And I actually found stealth to be quite useful in some situations.

but he is already getting Bioshock Infinite, I mean compare the these two games are all story heavy, and both a bit light on gameplay.

Supposedly Crysis3 has the better Multiplayer. Singleplayer-wise, it depends on what you want. I think Snowwolf described the pros and cons of each quite well. Your choice. :)

cough, chemical, COUGH.

Well, I actually didn't look at her, THAT WAY?

I mean, I seen her as a person that going through a crisis in her life, and if you look at her...that way, aren't you kind of taking advantage of her?

If my argument is invalid it might be because I stop checking out females for a while now.

I am not gay. Don't get any ideas Fields.

My votes goes for Lara. We have too many generic FPS.
