MAKE SURE TO GET THE DEVELOPMENT BUILD NOW SO YOU WONT HAVE TO DOWNLOAD IT ON SATURDAY.
The reason we should use the dev-build is that Altis is going to be released on the dev-build this Monday, being more than 10x bigger than Stratis, at more than 250 square kilometers.

If you don't know how to enable the dev-build, looky here: I can't post a mission yet, since Altis isn't out yet, but if we don't get decent ones, I'll make some myself. I would like to play with ACRE again, so if any of you would like to not use it, speak up now.

If you do not have ACRE set up, please show up 30-60 minutes early, so I can show you the ropes.

Advanced Combat Radio Environment.

Basically a realistic radio mod using Teamspeak to replace the built-in radios. Featuring different types of radios with different ranges, channels and frequencies, obstruction of the signal by landscape and buildings, vehicle integrated radios etc.

It's a bit of a pain in the ass to set up, but once it's working, it adds a great deal of immersion to the game.
Since we will probably have quite a few people new to the game there, it is probably better to stay with vanilla Teamspeak for the moment.

(I know that sounds morbid and insensitive, but he's been on Hospice for days now. And he's 93. We're all just used to death in my family.)

Off topic, I was having a problem with lag when I tried to play on Altis earlier today. Like, 0.1 fps lag problems. The computer's temp shot up to 78 F too - any ideas?

Who is hosting this? Just asking cuz Flummi, who usually hosts this is on the opposite side of the world and lag is kinda a killer.
