[Insurgency] Tuesday Night Insurgency Ops

For those who haven't played it yet, I'm told it's based on a CS mod that came out about 5 years ago. It's a tactical FPS with little to no hud, fast TTK (one or two bullets from any gun will kill you), high recoil and heavy suppression effects. It's $15 on steam (10% off today). Buy it. I played a little bit with Alecc, Duke, and Gardalop the other night and it was pretty fun. I imagine having a large squad working together would be even more fun. I plan on hopping on and playing some tonight at SBT + 8, so pick it up and join me if you're interested.

I bought it a few days ago and I love it, a back to basics FPS is exactly what I was looking for.

Any EUs want to play this sometime? SBT +8 is too late for me.

it is. I played this with some buddies from high school back in the original mod. It's a good tactical infantry shooter if you don't mind the whole being 1 shot with no indication of everything sort of thing and someone camping a doorway with an LMG being hard to take down.

Thought about picking it back up again, might end up doing it, not sure yet. I remember there being a pretty bad imbalance between some of the weapon choices between the teams in the mod that ended up turning me away from it.

I'll also add that from what I remember this plays very similar to TacBF mod on ArmA 3, although TacBF is slightly slower paced as the maps are much larger and have more than just infantry combat.

I remember playing the original mod, been thinking about grabbing it. I probably will now that other GC members have expressed interest. Probably have to wait a while to get the money though.

I was quite skeptical for a little bit even though I played the others a while back. I picked it up a couple days ago and haven't been able to play anything since.

The semi-fast paced tactical action is amazing and I love it. It is so much better and more fun when your team is communicated with one another.

There is a reddit league and a bunch of other tournaments trying to start up and I'm trying to join something.
