Ghost Recon: Phantom

Post by haruky »

Hey guys,

Discosoup, WenieWaggler, and myself recently started playing this game. It's a F2P third person tactical shooter. You play in squads of 8 against another squad of 8.

It's got 3 different modes, one of which is a lot like Battlefield's Conquest. There are also 3 different classes that have very different playstyles.

The game is surprisingly fun and victory is heavily dependent on teamwork. The starting guns, although not fantastic, can still hold their own against some of the higher tier guns that can be bought for real money.

Give it a spin and come play with us sometime!

If you're looking for a competitive gaming experience, CSGO is definitely the way to GO (haha... i'm so sorry).
But this game is just a fun, teamwork based game that I've taken quite a liking to.

If I'm not mistaken, it's pretty much the same thing with some balance fixes. Come try it out and play with us!

Haven't played it yet but from what I understand it's the same game as ghost recon online. They just changed the name.

Phantoms is a great game. I havent spent any real money on equipment but i still manage to get good of not highest results. I'll check to see if anyone is in game next time i log in. Game is worth a try if you enjoy tactical shooters. Great level design too; i also really like to cover mechanism.

It's pretty fun and can get very very intense at times.

However, towards the upper levels, the premium guns really do become obvious. Granted, better teamwork can trump an uncoordinated team with premium weapons. But there's little you can do against a premium team that has coordination.

Played three games already that were really good. The first was awesome, it kinda of facewalled though, teams were very even. The second game... well, let's just say the people on my team really weren't coordinated.

its the same like online, you can see its the same map in video.
I played online a lot, kinda got gired of it. if you play in evening EU I might join.

btw we are all deadly violent killers by my GF, who saw me playing BF:V online.
I don't know how she can say that on such a mindful game, where you can call arty with scopes, dig tunnels, fix buidlings
not just tanks and call enemys with map grid...

but yes, I cant play anymore on late hrs unless it's sims with her or something...
