RO2/RS Sundays

As has been stated the game is free for the next 24 hours for people to install and own forever. Undrt0w brought up a good idea (to me at least as I love this game), we should do another RO2/RS day.

We could run it on a Sunday as to not interfere with the current campaign. With the fresh reddit rushers I'm sure there are some RO2 players in there somewhere. Might even get more people to show up than we did last time.

This is obviously me volunteering to help organize it though I welcome any help that can be provided. Going ahead and putting up a simple poll to see who all would be interested in doing this.

Personally, I am still interested in having a campaign using RO2 as well but I realize that may not be feasible.

UPDATE:
Will be on every Sunday for the foreseeable future.

I'd like to try on just the eastern front maps as well, I mean the flamethrower is funny and all but unless they made drastic changes in the recent patch the US is way OP compared to the japanese.

We could definitely do a campaign so long as we have enough people and finance the server ourselves. I'm in for this Sunday.

We got at least 15-16 so far based off the results and other people I know will be there. Only been up a day

Definitely will be doing the eastern front this time since we did pacific last time.

I wasn't sure whether to do it this Sunday or next Sunday though. I know there are some people who pretty much only check the forums on Saturdays. Wanted to give those guys a little more time than "Hey we're doing an RO2 thing tomorrow." Alternatively, I suppose we can do it both Sundays. I'm obviously up for that scenario, I do love me some RO2.

RO2/RS are amazing games and i personally feel you can get even more tactics and teamwork out of it than BF$ with it being that next level of realism. with commanders being able to call in strikes and having to adjust sights on gins for range. its a steep learning curve but i think it would be worth it.

Seeing as you were my inspiration for this that is sad news indeed. So I'm going to say officially this will be next Sunday but I will still be playing this Sunday (and probably off and on throughout the week) for those who can make it who want to join me.
