These betas are a good way to demo games. I got to play enough Titanfall (which I was excited for pre-release) to know I wouldn't be buying it. I like the concept of Hardline so I'm going to give it a shot, but it will have to really blow me away in the beta if they want me to buy it on release- I have enough AAA shooters in my library to keep me busy and PayDay already gives me my fill of criminality and cop shooting.

I'm so angry that they made another Battlefield game whilst the old one is still broken. Unless this game literally pukes rainbows and shits unicorns I'm going to stick with BF3 and Star Citizen, maybe play some BF4 but only within the community

My concern is they will build the "beta" to run as optimized as possible for fluid like BF4. Then when they "fix" the huge bugs for "retail" it will be as laggy as hell.
Still gotta try it. BF4 is a rough gem with some pretty cool stuff, too bad they never figured out how to make it shine. What else we going to play? Arma seemed pretty cool, but the audience was smaller.

Maybe play 64v64 on Rust or those other zombie spinoffs.

Wow, just wow. I saw recycled assets in the trailers before now, but the gameplay is officially a reskinned bf4, without enough give-a-crap to even change the UI. They could have just added these new gamemodes as DLC in the existing game, or even just finish BF4 before throwing so much effort at a new game. This is the EA and DICE that halted work on other projects to try and fix BF4 at launch. I don't even know what to say.

Yeah, I don't pretend to know anything about this series, but why is Tom Clancy's name still on it even after he died last year? Was he ever involved with these games at all? Could somebody enlighten me?
