Elite: Dangerous

So Elite: Dangerous has released. Anyone playing this to hold them over for Star Citizen? I have been thinking of picking it up.

I'm playing right now. It's pretty great, but atm it doesn't have much to support group play beyond a few very basic features. That's next on their list of things being added tho, still very fun.

I went ahead and picked it up. even if there isnt a lot of muliplayer functions right now 2 or 3 working together is better than none.

Are you guys using mouse and keyboard or joystick?

Hey All! I also grabbed this .. I've been using a mix of all three (mouse/keyboard/joystick) and it is pretty interesting. I've found myself going deeper and deeper into space just to find someone to buy my 4 units of tea and try to make some cash.

if you want to meet up, I and some friends are based in the Kokojima system. It's hi-tech with lots of different ships, and lots of different types of places all around. No rare goods, but lots of minerals and small trade opportunities within the nearby systems.

im still trying to figure crap out. i have a few bounties in need to collect but cant seem to find where i am suppose to go for that

Edit: I found one place to cash a bounty (29k) but now i have this issue where a contract bugged out so i have 2 sets of the cargo i need to deliver but dont actually have the mission. I cant get rid of the cargo unless i abandon the mission but the mission isnt in my log.

Go into solo mode, check there, then come back into open and try again.

I've had it bug out a few times, sometimes you end up in a bad instance, they've not been able to track it down. Sometimes just jumping system works as that usually changes your instance too.

They add group/guilds yet?

They've got wings. Groups/Guilds like what you mean isn't really on the planner right now. I think they want to get the interactive universe fully up and working with the NPC faction leaders before they even touch on the potential universe breaking OP sized twat groups which will form when that kind of thing can happen.
