I mean, Battlefield single player games are just rail shooters, so I wouldn't be too surprised if the story mode and co-op are like that. I'm sure this perception is amplified by the fact that the footage seems to be captured playing on a super low difficulty with a controller in the hands of someone with the reaction time of a sleepy Koala.

My biggest concerns remain. How is the hit detection going to be? I mean, the devs get to use lasers now, so surely it should be tight, right? Then again, it is still the Frostbug engine.

But I have to say it does look very good graphically and the audio is fantastic!

Yes l know it was directed my Michael "Explosions" Bay and does not reflect real game play, but l do like the look of it so far.

I'm kind of concerned about the 40 player cap limit this might be to do with netcode or maybe something else.

And finally a co-op mode which l have been wanting again since BF3!

I will probably buy it but l might wait for a few more gameplay clips to come out before l make my mind up.

See, no matter how bad a game it is, it's still Star Wars. I can't help myself, I love SW games. I've already pre-ordered it and am just waiting for launch so I can bitch about how dice have screwed another potentially brilliant game.

im not going to lie, im starting to become more and more disappointed the more i hear about this game. i can understand battle pick up weapons some but vehicle pick ups? come on, they might as well just made this a new SW shooter franchise instead of calling it battlefront. I feel like they are taking out a lot of the fun that could be had by making things more arcady. sure im probably going to by it just because of SW and EA is counting on that. i even kind of hate myself for admiting it.

It looks like a crappy FPS that's leaning on the strwrs IP very heavily to make any impact.

Ya, this is definitely an EA game, meaning hold your fraking horses till legit reviewers confirm its goodness/ungoodness.
