Some of the original devs of the rollcage PC port are working on this. And one of them stated that the main focus will be on gameplay and physics. It aint close to release, but hot-damn, this is another great game to look forward to.

I've never played or even heard the Rollcage games but this looks like a pretty cool arcade racer which I like. Apparently they're doing a kickstarter in a month and it's on steam greenlight http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =475116317

There's a similar racer I remember playing ages ago... I think it also had a 4-letter name maybe I will try to see if I still have the disk.
