XCOM 2

Post by Gwynzer »

So XCOM 2 is great and I recommend y'all buy it. One of the cool things about it is the addition of a "character pool" which the game draws soldiers and VIPs from. Customisation in XCOM 1 was quite cool, and XCOM 2 has done it so much better as the pool allows importing and exporting of characters, and it lives in all your playthroughs.

I've made a few GC people in it so far. At the moment the list is:
Matsif
Gwynzer
Gonzo
Flummi
Disco
Sloth
Ceki
01
Rob
Insanity

You can view am album of them here, and download their library here.

I'd love to see what anyone else has created, and anyone who wants a character should poke me on TS and we can get you in.

This is probably the hardest game I ever played but I'm loving it so far. Just started my fifth campaign cause I keep squadwiping on VIP missions, haha. I haven't even reached the avenger defense mission in any of my campaigns yet. Gonna try and rush for Psi Ops in my next one and see if that can make it easier...

What ever you do, stop them from making UFO's lost my 2 best guys in that fight. I think im down about 10 total. Super fun though, make sure you also update your weapons, seems to help a lot.

Updated the album and binary to include ceki and 01.

Come on people, I've still got nowhere near enough to run a GC member XCOM campaign, lets get some more people in the hat :P

I think I'm in Love with Flummi (bangs & a bun hairstyle)

Do I just need to ping you on TS to get in on the action?

I was looking to buy the game...do I need a controller for it? Or is it Steam trying to offload more of their controllers? (You get the controller at a discounted rate when purchased with XCOM2 or XCOM2 Digital Deluxe)

I'd say playing with a controller would be awkward at best. it's a turn based strategy game on a grid as far as combat goes, so while a controller would work there's no reason to use one. steam just trying to offload more controllers I guess.
woke up this morning, put on my slippers, walked in the kitchen and died
