There were many patches for 42, go to the EA website and download the latest.

We are using BF2 in our tourny now, we all loved 1942 but it was time for something new. Of course we played it for 2 years :)

You should NEVER EVER alt-tab in bf2. Always use ctrl-alt-del . It is stated in the readme quite prominently . I was surprised to learn that there were many that are unaware of this fact.

I also use the Saitek X-45, great stick. It has over 300 possible funtions. It is built like abrick shithouse too, I threw mine against the wall once full force and it never missed a beat. (don't ask  ) It is the best flight stick out there and I think you can get one for $70 bucks. It does re...

Rickey is on target I think. Do you guys remeber the city of the dead in Fallujah, graveyard and catacombs all over the place. No vehicals and plenty of infantry action. Might be a good night map.

Maybe not Karkand but Zatar Wetlands and Daqing oilfields would be the right size. I am sure if 128 were supported when the customs come out there would be a lot of BIG maps for 128 players to play on.

That Jet is Your Jet! - Battlefield 2 comes with an advanced, technologically breathtaking feature which allows players to virtually "claim" a vehicle they want. You accomplish this by saying "GET OUT OF MY PLANE YOU fraker" repeatedly

It would be nice to have a camp only stat board. Of course I would be on the bottom of the list. I am lucky to finish above zero.

Are the virtual drives still in your drive list? You will have to remove them.

Also try installing Alcohol120, a full clean install, it worked for me on a different game. but I did that on a new HD.

Good Luck

Think A's AMD AGP Asus (mobo) you can get the asus 32bit boards w/AMD 3000 for under $100, and they are freakin solid. I am not sure about AGP vs PCI, it seems the new cards are being offered on both. I have heard the AGP cards have better stability but have never had a PCI card to compare it to. Go...

I used to have an SB live. I had a helluva time getting the mic setting right. Make sure you have the mic-boost turned on in the control panel. I think it is the windows sound control panel that needs to have it on, even if you use the sb cp. Run a diagnostic and read the little message it tells you...
