Smells like a hardware problem. Switching Ram around is a good start, but you might wanna check your hardware anyway, just in case. Run memtest and prime95 (stress test nr. 2) for at least 10 hours each. If they come out ok, at least you know it's not your computer. I'm sure you can use google to fi...

Only thing I can think of is the BF2 folder in my documents and settings, which happens to be 9 MB on my comp and contains most of the config files. I ran into a problem after switching screens, my new one wasn't able to handle as many hz as the new one so I had to manually change the config files, ...

For me it's Quake 4, but more importantly the system to run it, although I'm sure i'll picmip multiplayer until it's uglier than quake1 :)

The lag would have nothing to do with server side or client side. The only reason it would lag more is because you suddenly might have 64 people at one flag, but really, it's like that on some of the city maps as well (karkand e.g.) where both teams meet at a single chokepoint, and it hasn't caused ...
