What's the difference AND any reason not to use it in gaming rig. I read a forum where guys were using it, and saying it's the same thing, only cheaper. Anybody in the know on this?

just make sure you get the right voltage and timings on the DDR2 ram. The Mobo's are REALLY picky with DDR2, and you'll be scratching your head for days trying to figure it out.
