IMHO this game was the peak of the series. I wont play it because Shogun finally surpassed it many years later. But I'd still recommend this to has never played the series.

Technically, I would be inclined to say that garbage out (video card) is garbage in (monitor). Yet with digital protocols and buggy drivers you cant always blame the hardware. Basically saying in the old world, its never your monitors fault. Doing a Hail Mary with a DVI or VGA is always worth while....

My fear is the history of the BF franchise. Each patch is a wrapper on top of the game. With every real patch creates an additional layer of lag because they really aren't fixing it at the root level. They add scripts on top of the existing laggy scripts. Yay! additional scripts! Ohhh, what lag?!?!

We use NFO's top quality service to run a virtual server. Yet, this does happen time to time on connection issues. If theres better permanent solutions, the forum is open.

Probably using a script to adapt the server size as it fills. May want to say such in title.

It has custom setting(s), so few people will look for or join a custom server and Quickplay wont feed the server.

Set it on Normal or Hardcore and you'll increase your chance of pubbies.
