You'll need to run error-checking under tools of the drives. Personally, I prefer booting off your Win XP CD, enter the recovery console and using the chkdsk /r command on each drive. If the drives are stacked ontop each other, they could overheat if not ventilated. Open the case and stick a fan nea...

With a fresh install and memtest good, I'd look at hard drive and latest chipset drivers as the next to rule out. Check the event log to see if it shows any errors. A solid lock could be any hardware. You'll have to strip the system down as much as possible and see if you can run stable. Are the dri...

I would be concerned of other windows files being corrupted also since you had memory issues. Seriously, run MEMTEST PLUS http://www.memtest.org/ off a CD by downloading their image and making a bootable CD. Your memory may be occasionally fragging files even tho windows can run. Especially if you h...

Wonder how many servers will be running just the 3 maps?

Are there 1.21 servers up? Or is this backwards compat with 1.2?

His OS CD (Dell Restore CD) will check for a DELL motherboard before doing a clean install. And then after it finds a Dell motherboard, it will install an image of the original system that shipped.

Only AA and TOW exiting probs I've run into seems that I need to turn to exit. If a vehicle or something is next to it, it wont let me out until I turn. But maybe it reloaded during my turning and my hypothesis is wrong.

I've experienced at least 3/4 of these bugs recently and wonder what the last patch fixed.

Thanx for the link to the evil empire forum. I'll direct my anti-EA quality posts there.

Sounds like you got a browser add-on. Look for extra buttons, they may give you a clue to the name of the program.

Check ur add/remove. Theres no simple answer for removing BHOs and plugins in Internet Explorer.
