Thats usually memory on the video card overheating or failing. Especially since scrolling just shifts the video memory. Memory tends to fail in rows or columns depending on how they manipulate it. Also look for any artifacts while windows is booting up before you even get to your desktop. Only way t...

I personally avoid partitions, but thats more of one's mindset. Also, I have a crappy old 10gig drive I use to see if I really need to wipe my main 80gig drive. Pull main drive out. Throw in the 10gig. Slap windows on it with drivers, install game and see if problem still exists. If it does, then I ...

Verify seems to do alot of file hashing which is affected by your memory and hard drive. A defrag may help a little. Keep pushing the graphic detail up until you almost run into Virtual Memory. I run 1GB memory and wish I had 2, but that wont happen until I can afford a new mb and cpu.

They have seemed to shift some processes to finish while you are in game. As for virtual memory. Turn your graphics setting down to low detail and see how much virtual memory the game uses then.

www.global-conflict.org for pub and battles days.

If you have problems locating it, you can try asking for help from squadmates on Teamspeak.

Ranks and badges

Some people dont care about badges. But as you go up rank, you will need basic badges at some point. So even the most honorable of you guys are going to get down and whore some badges. Thanks EA.

ATI = hopefully the latest drivers work with the latest game. Not just their paper launches and then many months later the product is readily available. Nvidia = whores, but at least you know you will have a good time. Decent review of GPU's http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/video/display/2005-17gpu....
