Is this where to post to say the euro server has been laggy (different than usual) for me the last couple of times I've been on it?

It has.

Thread might possibly get more helpful response if put in Help Forum (New Members + Tech Support)

There is an AAS mode or some such, which only allows the taking of flags in a particular order. Thus a limited number of CPs are in contention at a time.

As it is not presently broken and phil looked into it and suspects it was transient, this issue would seem to be resolved, except for the multiple cluttering posts which take away from the intent of the thread.

Update: while stating an error occurred, it seems the post was made, thus after multiple attempts to get post up, led to multiple identical post, which I will edit as best I can.
And there was an identical post from goggles ???
No errors now.

There is ample opportunity for an official Scrim committee to be created. The people who have opinions about what the scrim should consist of could be part of this committee. The committee should also poll for concensus of what the greater GC community wants to see in a scrim. Contact with outside g...

On the other subject - infantry only - this was a compromise between HC's to allow for lower numbers. It was well received and has therefore stuck. I would go as far as to say that it is now inplace and should be put to the votables to overturn. Never voted. A couple people (HCs of last Camp) decid...

oh, no. no infantils only! *cry* What?! you do not enjoy those nade spam fests? Standoff at the railroad tracks on Oman comes to mind ..... I always thought just the use of 16 player maps dumbed down the quantity of 'killing' vehicles enough to be a compromise, but apparently those who have the pow...

Glad you asked.
Yes, the ping for me is about 11% higher for the new IP.
190(old) -> 210(new)
I vote no for the new IP.

It is convenient to sign up in advance while looking at the ABC which I do at the time of battles. There were no advance signups available immediately after last battle.

Whew thanks for the fix ... this week.

I just hope we get to shoot the deserters again this time! It is hard to desert when your CO and his claymores are behind you! :( Victory condition: The army who wins the most tickets may call themselves winner. So map wins are not deciders? The total overall ticket count of the day is the winner?

Comment about custom maps and Saturday battle: Some custom maps were agreed to because they were used in previous campaigns. The custom map trials of the last two weeks have only tried new to GC maps. Dusting off and playing the old, previously tried in past campaign maps would be a refresher for so...

Run the program and it will update over 1.40.

And if you have the same setup as me, you will loose your video settings, unless you backup your configuration files and just replace those files afterwards.
