If Im not wrong there is no working mini image for BF2142.
There used to be a workaround and that is that you try to get an exe file from somebody that bought and downloaded BF2142 from EA downloader...

This issue has been discussed many times in beta forums but DICE wont change it.
Best way is to try and find another server.
