I browsed to the newposts link without being logged in, allowed the relevant domains in NoScript, and every login attempt kept logging me in and straight back out again. Fun...

I saw this happening the other day and noticed it was due to whether the address was global-conflict.org or www.global-conflict.org (i.e. with and without the hostname). If you insert "www." to the URL on a page that shows you as logged out, it works fine. For me, at least.
