I agree. I think it'd be much better to rotate people after a map is over. It'd give people some time to take a breather and give the officers/FC some time to talk about plans and what not.

So these are the specs for my laptop, I believe I can upgrade to 8gigs of ram. Would that make any difference to my fps/gameplay? I currently have all the bf3 graphical settings on minimum settings and a lowered resolution, and get a reasonably consistent 35-40 fps. Laptop, Core i5 450M 2.4GHz 4GB ...

I only have 4 gigs and no lag issues. That's cos I always close my browser which saves me about 500mb of ram + switching theme to basic saves me another 600mb of ram. I had issues with 4 gigs. But I did not do what you did (No Aero + no Browsers). If I had done that, I'm sure it would've been fine ...
