Dammit Undisparo, well over 24 hours since I listened to that and it's still playing in my head.

I think the issue isn't that we can't cope with another influx of players (though it would make life tough), the campaign system isn't set up to run two servers simultaneously. The C2 system was simple, and so easy to modify, the current risk system is much, much more complicated.

I'm poor and can't afford a computer to give me good graphics. To see a soldier medium to long range away is a struggle and 3D spotting helps tremendously to even the playing field against players who have a more luxurious rig. I was at first very against it, but have come round to the idea, I think it adds more to the game than it takes away. I also like how smoke actually has a point now as you cant just spam 'q' at it.

I'm going to try it on another laptop tomorrow. If it fails on the other laptop then it's getting replaced. If not then I'll have another look at drivers ect.

Switching USB ports on this laptop didn't do anything.

It only stops working for about 5 seconds at a time, so unplugging it is a little pointless as by the time you've done that the thing would be working again anyway.
