Re: javelin discussion
While I was driving an LAV during Darkstar's battleday this week I noticed that active protection wasn't very effective against javelins. I'm not sure if that's because they were laser designated or what, but it seemed I was still getting hit pretty consistently by them. If it is a lazer designated...

Re: javelin discussion
One aspect needed to be considered in regard to Javelin/gunner soflam combo and that is range . No lazed target lock-on max distance = 350m Lazed target lock-on max distance = 500m For SRAW the max distance for lazed target lock-on is 350m, (same distance applies for MBT LAW). If Javelin is removed ...

Re: Instability since last patch
I've also had my share of crashes since latest patch, but I've done some things that made it stop. Can't really say that what I did will solve others problems, but since I haven't been crashing afterwards - it must've done something right. By the way, I run Windows 8.1, AMD FX9somethingCPU and AMD R...

Re: Mouse freezing and then jumping
What kind of mouse are you using? Connected via USB or old fashioned PS/2? Do you have a joystick attached as well?
Try different USB-port and if you have another mouse, try that one to see if it gives same problem.

So, I'm new here. Just bought Battlefield 4 recently, and I'm not sure how well it's going to run yet, but for $10 why the hell not? I'm not always super available, but I'd love to just jump in when and where I can. Where do I sign up for things?

Re: Homeworld Remastered
Awesome! Had no idea this was happening... Although I only had demo version (I think, or I just couldn't get past a certain point in game) I played it extensively and loved every minute of it.

Re: BFI - Battle Day Sign Up
Umm... wrong thread headline but don't wanna start up another one... The battleday sign up is there so it's not about that, however I have a question regarding the BF4C5 campaign system regarding map announcements that I assume should be residing here http://www.global-conflict.org/viewforum.php?f=4...

Re: Campaign system proposal (no RISK)
At first glance - looks really interesting
Questions:
What's the size of map pools (how many maps are there)?
What's the mathematics behind the CP (Campaign Points) and the worst/best case scenario in terms of campaign longevity?

Re: Dat netcode
First week after patch release it was horrible. Nowadays, after readjusting gameplay due to all changes, I find it more often to be server dependant then "general bad netcode". The thing that bugs me the most since patch is the terribad seemingly random FPS drops happening on several maps...

Re: bf4c4 campaign system discussion
True, I agree. I would just urge TA/HC to reconsider the Pearl Market and remove the 64IO for some other map, like maybe Lancang Dam 64IO. I foresee Pearl Market becoming one of the most unliked maps in GC due to its design...matsif wrote:...stuff...

Re: bf4c4 campaign system discussion
Some comments/thoughts on some of the maps listed by Gwynzer: Guilin Peaks 64V and 32V are basically the same maps, only difference is that 32V has two less flags. Pearl Market 64IO and 64V - what is the difference here? In IO you can't use the Amtrac but in V you can? There are no other armour on t...
