Feel free to use the Battlefield 3 asset pack EA released for the Only in battlefield competition

http://planetbattlefield.gamespy.com/fu ... ?id=165776
Is that kosher if it's not used for an Only in Battlefield video (sushi)?
I am searching for a corresponding user-license, until now I haven't found any. Thing is, if they dedicate the assets to be used for a specific purpose only - licenses are limited to said usage - If somebody can point me to any written info regarding usage/licenses I will look at them gladly.

For now I would say, a risk when using the original game sounds is there, but should be tolerable. (Always better to use your own stuff though;-)

Tried some things with the battlefield loading icon thingy, tell me how you like it. I also did some frame blending with the globe, should look more fluid now.

If there's no suggestions for further improvements video-wise, i'd say someone needs to take care of the sound. I'll upload an uncompressed high-quality version tomorrow for people to use.

Dude that is freaking awesome.

As for sound, I thought Fields already took care of that.

i think the globe should fall in and as a result the red part break off the "conflict".

in small window it looks fine, but full screen, it looks like the globe stutters as it rotates . can you make it smoother?
maybe also use http://www.Global-Conflict.org (big G and C, as the small g is the only letter that goes under the line, which makes it a bit, i dont know, weird. a capital G would make all the url above the imaginary line)

Is the first fraction of a second stuttering for anyone else?

Yeah. I checked the files, it's not in there. It appears to be youtube doing weird things.

The BF3 static, from my newer videos! I'll see if I can upload just the intro in a sec.

I like it. I don't think the sounds fits though...

yeah but just a thought: obviously the sound would have to stop at the end of the into, isn't something that isn't somuch melodical=something you would not expect to continue better for the purpose?

whatever sound you guys use, we will need info what it is and where you got it from (maybe even with declaration we are free to use it)
