I don't get those silly cod comparisons. If it's a cool feauture then who cares. At this point the modern age shooter has been milked so much that I welcome everything new. (Except for lock on weapons, I hate those)

Honestly, I was hoping they would adopt the more painterly art style of the last MoH game and retract a bit from the harsh ultra-realistic bf3 imagery. I suppose that won't happens, but I'll keep holding my breath for rocket packs.

This looks really cool I'll wait till I've played the Beta to give my full opinion but initially it looks pretty neat.

On a side note, if you have BF3 premium but can't see that you have BF4 beta access when you do this:

P.S.- If you right click on BF3 and click "Show Game Details", take a look at the expansions section. Battlefield 4 beta access for Premium members? I think this confirms it.

If you restart origin a couple of times then it should show up.

My only gripe is that the vehicle models are indistinguishable from BF3... the jeep and havoc look identical

The time lapse from BF2 to Bad Company 2 was a Very Long time. From BC2 to BF3 to BF4 is very fast, like every 2 years, so don't expect too much to change in that time frame.

Seemed like they announced BF3 about 6 months after the BFBC2:Vietnam DLC. I was expecting them to announce BF4 6 months after the last BF3 DLC.

And they didn't confirm or deny battlerecorder/commanders for BF3. They barely are implementing what they advertised for BF3 these many months after launch. Battlerecorder at this point is not even a concern for them, too much load on the server.

BF4 beta access, yes I think so. At least I have it.

I don't see anything new apart from better graphics.
As much as a 2nd scope is cool its effect on the gameplay is minimal and it doesn't take much time to add it.
Of course they designed billion other scopes but again it changes about nothing. And only like a days work.

I think the best part in Origin afaik, is that they (EA) still don't know that one USD is not the same as one euro or 10 swedish kronors.
That means the game will cost, according to Origin:
- $70
- 70€
- 700 SEK

$70 = 55€
$70 = 457 SEK

That is a pretty big difference, it was the same with BF3 Premium, but people got that cheaper with some tricks.

I think the vehicle destructions will be a lot better in BF4. BF3 had it so that every vehicle just sorta exploded after it went to 0%. Now it looks like it might just plunge straight into the ground and kick up dust and such. I like that.

but if it is true it'll be nice addition, though again only graphical one.
