Global Conflict

Salutations Comrades,

Just put a new pc together. My goal was to spend less than 500.00 and still have a worthy game computer. I did it!

Cool Master mid tower case with USB 3 and X factor hot swap hard drive.
Intel motherboard and a I3 processor at 3.3 ghz
8 gigs of DDR3 at 13300 mhz
Asus TI 560 CU with 1 gig of vid ram......overclocked by 17%
600 watt power supply

I reused the following from my last pc:

25" Samsung HD monitor
24x DvD burner
120 gig SSD hard drive
keyboard and mouse
12 terrabytes of external drives
Windows 7 64 bit

This thing rocks...........nicest pc i ever owned and I have owned quite a few...........lol

P.S. That video card is awesome. Cheap and I can run BF3 at maximum settings. Its glorious.

Thanks W, I appreciate it. I actually just ordered a new graphics card and an SSD since the old card died on me. I ordered an 660 GTX which is almost on the same level as your card and a 256GB SSD for 390€ which is 530$...

I guess you guys across the pond have more discounts and sooner because if I wait here for a discount the card or any other component will become obsolete when I buy it.

I was engaged to a beauty from Denmark once upon a time. I called her my Danish Roll. She still sends me caviar from the North Sea. Shhhhhhhh......don't tell her but I get better caviar here in the states. I think it comes from Russia. Damn good. Having some today for the Super Bowl. Bottom line.....she was my ice princess. She was a victim of apartheid. She was visiting her Grandma and took a bus home. Her village had been razed to the ground. Nothing left......nothing. She walked to the border.......she was 12. I'm surprised you can run on Ultra with an i3. What framerate are you running at?

I dont know. I just know it rocks and beats the hell out of my old GT 8600 OC. I will check. Its part of ASUS doctor.

Maybe its not ultra. But its set on high and 16x. Thats pretty cool for most of us. Im happy. Thats what counts.......right?
