P2P Streaming

Post by LongBowNL »

As a lot of people are starting to stream more and more, this new streaming service looks interesting.

What do you think?

After posting this, I started thinking about ping. The further you are down the line, that higher your "ping" to the source will be. :?

I actually installed that! It is very easy to set up.
I have done some minutes of streaming and ping was fine. The stream does not get saved, though.
I used OBS for capturing and streaming to bittorrent live.
Kinda cool.
The benefits over twitch is that with more viewers the stream gets smoother and not the other way round.
Wat ne Wuchtbrumme!

You can record to HDD and stream at the same time with OBS.

Would like it even more if the stream got saved to the channels. Only other option is saving straight to HDD.

I don't think ping is very relevant for watching streams.
