And ehm, Micro-Stuttering occasionally doesn't happen on Single-Way running cards, only when you start Crossfiring/SLI'ing them you will get those problems more (Especially Crossfiring).
So have you any plans to get a SLI/Crossfire set-up? Than yes go for NVIDIA. And if your preference is Nvidia anyway.

Zotac's AMP! Edition are known for there loud noise (sometimes even more then the reference coolers).
I'd advice you to take a MSI(Twin Frozr) or an ASUS(Direct CU II). And you can choose, either the 660Ti or the 660. Of course the 660Ti is more expensive(around 300, but the asus is still 295) But it also has a better performance.

Me personally am using an GTX 670 by Asus, and I really like it, it's really silent!
