The battles work...as in do we all pile into 6 man squads and recieve orders and junk? Cuz thas pretty ill lol

We are still working on what (if any) custom maps will be included in the campaign.

As for how GC works, you sign up for (and play with) a specific squad. That squad is assigned to attack and/or defend specific objectives on each map we play. The decisions on who does what are made by the Field Commander (Usually the General or Colonel of your army), and they operate all in-game commander functions.
GC goes much beyond that, but that is the extent of what most newer players will see.
