Trying to Patch BF2 [RESOLVED]

Post by KillShot »

Well tried to get online today and found that My version is out of date. Well considering I have not played in a while it is understandable.

Now the real fun begins. Download the 1.3 patch and try to install it. Comes up with "Can't find folder for Battlefield 2(TM)."

Have tried to incrimental patch as well with same results. Tried to uninstall the game and start from scratch. Will not uninstall the game either. Dagrooved thinks it may have something to do with the install shield being Fubar. SO any ideas I would love the help. THanks all.

Well, I would personnaly remove the game manually by myself... (not hard)
Then, take a look at the registery to erase what have to be erased.
Then try to reinstall it.

Yeah, it turned out it wasn't a bf2 problem, it was an installsheild registry problem.

Hi Sushi,

....ImageYeah, it seems I find myself playing with more and more females all the time. I kinda miss the male bonding but I am managing best I can. I will let you interpret that anyway you find fit, my good friend. Ha Ha!
