I like the idea, rebel, but the text is a tad hard to read (for me)

Does this look better?
The background is very smooth now (no more change of black color from the image to the text background), which is purty! The text could use some anti-aliasing now, though

Na, anti aliasing on the text wouldn't look as good. It's not supposed to be all smooth text... look at the font.
