Whats faster AMD 1.6 or P4 2.5?
I can switch my gaming rig over to the AMD 1.6 but I don't know if I'll gain or lose performance. Any suggestions?

Yeah, is it an AMD64 or AMD Sempron or Duron or Celeron or Megatron.

Then, what are the combinations you want to switch to?(list both options)
Finally, are you interested in any overclocking?
By the way, a P4 2.5 is "faster" than an AMD 1.6, technically.
...but it's not always quicker.....

1.6 with a PR rating of somewhere around 2200+? Still what type of Pentium and what type of AMD does make a big difference.
