EDIT: note that posting to this thread a minute later produced no error

Update: while stating an error occurred, it seems the post was made, thus after multiple attempts to get post up, led to multiple identical post, which I will edit as best I can.
And there was an identical post from goggles ???
No errors now.

What thread did the error occur in? It's probably due to a lot guys subscribed to that thread and the forum sending dozens of mails in short time therefore on a new post. The E-Mail server refused too many connections to prevent malicious scripts sending mass e-mailings aka spam mails. It's a software flaw and hopefully fixed in a later version of phpbb.

As it is not presently broken and phil looked into it and suspects it was transient, this issue would seem to be resolved, except for the multiple cluttering posts which take away from the intent of the thread.
