You are running an older version than this server [RESOLVED]

I just installed bf2, and applied the 1.41 patch clean... no addons (special forces) and it says i am on an older version than the euro and na server...
Anyone know of anything i can try to fix this?
Edit:
Other servers work fine.

Try updating your PB version!
This might be the problem.

We had another member with this exact same problem... weird. Instanz, maybe? Does anyone remember the solution?

I think it was the patch didn't take or something. He reinstalled the patch and it worked fine (be sure to have your anti-virus software disabled during patch).

I reinstalled the patch with antivirus disabled.
I updated punkbuster.
I set to run as admin in vista.
Im out of ideas lol
Does your version number match the one i have in the top right circled in red... please tell me if yours is different.

I would sugest your reinstall everything and download the Patch 1.41 full from the link below.Some of our Clan members had simular problems with the patch from ea.

RESOLVED.
My dvd's got screwed up a long time ago, so i keep a .iso of bf2 on my computer, which forces me to use a nocd patch.
The patch was for 1.4 not 1.41, so i got an all version mini image instead and it works beautifully.

Using a cracked 1.4 exe after patching to 1.41 could cause problems. But its good to hear PB didnt ban him for using an altered exe. Stick with the mini-images.

was using the modded exe since 1.3 with no problems... but ill stick with the mini image.
