Global Conflict

Some of you may have noticed that whenever i talk on teamspeak, i sound really really soft like im friggin 150 meters away. it started a while back when i installed some new nvidia drivers for my screen, but the install went fubar and my pc crashed. After that, whenever i talk on teamspeak or ventrillo i sound very soft. I have no idea how to fix this, even putting it on full voice.

In your sound control panel, you need to go to the sliders section. Switch from the default playback sliders to recording sliders. Get advanced options on your microphone slider. You need to make sure the +20db box is checked. Different drivers hide it different so you may have to hunt around.
