I use mouse, ever since my cheap Thrust joystick de-calibrated itself in BF42. I don't fly much if at all. I would probably get something from Saitek.

I use a Saitek Cyborg Evo, although they don't produce them any more. It's a good stick, although I have to set dead zones on it as it's pretty sensitive.

helo: definetely use a mouse, maybe one with a button for changing the sensitivity, because you want to switch to a high sens profile when you are flying

joystick: logitech models are quite popular. I have a Force3dPro which does not give an advantage as forcefeedback does work with bf3. Maybe you want to look at the "Logitech Attack 3" joystick or "Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Twist Handle" joystick.

One drawback with the logitech models: they do not stand very firm on the table. I need one hand basically to fixate it.

If you go get Joystick, get Twist Handle and Throttle control, so you will use it in plenty other game, yes :D ?

I likes Saitek - lottsa button and programmable

Logitech good also ;)

YOU NO BUY USED !

Personally i use the Saitek X52 Pro after trashing the old X52, but i had to starve for a week to afford it.

Definitely Logitech. I have the Wingman Attack 3 Joystick and it is great for flying Helos or jets. No yaw built in, so you will have to use A and D but there is thrust control and buttons for flares and whatnot. Really cheap too, like $15-$20 USD.
