Battlelog Chrome plugin

Bah!
the battlelog game manager keeps telling me to update my browser plugin (using chrome), although i already installed that version several weeks ago.
anyway, downloaded and installed again, but it keeps telling me to update game manager.
looked into the chrome plugins (chrome://plugins/) and the battlelog plugin doesn't show up, i guess thats the problem.
tried uninstalling / reinstalling, "run as administrator" and all those stuff, but can't get that plugin to load into chrome.

any suggestions? using a different browser for now, but i'd like to fix it in chrome.

Found this suggestion on the bl forums:
Uninstall battlelog
Go to Internet Options and delete Browsing History, Favorite Website Data, Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, and History.
Reinstall Battlelog Plugin
