Screenshots all black?

Hey, just tried to take some screenshots and they all rendered as all black images. Anyone else run into this? Google is not very helpful.

Use steam or console command.
2. Type "Screenshot.Render" in the console to take a screenshot.
3. Check your "\Documents\Battlefield 3\Screenshots" for the contents

Right that's what I'm doing. They come out all black. Just restarted to see if that would fix it... nope.

Wtf. So now I can't take screenshots? The hell?

FRAPS doesn't work for you either? Maybe a GPU driver issue?

Ugh, yeah I'll probably have to update my video drivers. Worked fine until the patch.

i've noticed it from last battleday. all the screenshot i took using the console command are black.
i thought it might just be something with that particular game load, but on last EUBO all the screens i took also turned out black.

i too tried to google and search the battlelog forums, theres no info about it. i guess its pretty new problem.
but it started before the patch (battleday was Dec 1st), and wasn't fix by it. didn't update my Graphic drivers so thats not what caused it either. i'll update and check if it helps but i doubt it.

I just checked and my drivers are all up to date. Awesome, AFtermath broke my screenshots.

i dont think its aftermath.
my last "working" screenshot is from the 1st Dec 13:55
the first black screenshot is from 1st Dec 22:30
SBT is 20:00 for me.
before the patch and aftermath were released. i think i had to download a new battlelog game manager just before the battle. but that doesn't really have anything to do with drawing game screenshots.
maybe PB update broke it? it updates seemingly so no idea there.

just how wide is this problem? does your render.screeshot comes out fine guys?

That might work since its a external image taker. you need windowed mode though to accomplish that however.

I've just tested Screenshot.Render and it came out fine. This was with an AMD 6870 and pretty old drivers.

Do you by any chance have nvidia cards?

Why not use a third party app for that purpose? MSI Afterburner can also capture screenshots and it's free.

I have the same issue and it started on the same day.
I'm using Screenshot.Render in game and this is the result :

16KB = black screenshots.
I have no idea why.

well, then its a 6 days old problem, thats why google isn't helping.
and its fairly wide one.

Using it through steam doesn't work either?

There are new NVidia drivers out this week that are suppose to fix crashes with BF3, maybe this was one of the problems as well?
