shaders/staticsmesh.fx error after patch

NEED SOME HELP, FIGURED ID GET THE BEST RESPONSE HERE,

ever since the new patch when i start bf2 i get this message;

"shaders/staticMesh.fx not found _DO_ check your working directory _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP (really!)"

tried to uninstall but i cant, it wont let me!!!

i have a new radeon 9550

You might have corrupted your BF2 cache. Delete the subdirectories in your My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache and bf2 will rebuild your shaders.

Or, the problem may be solved the next time you run the game :P

i have a radeon 9550, and it works, so it should work for you to...

Happened to me earlier today. I believe it was because i was holding down my kp_ins button when i was loading. It only happened once and i haven't seen it since

modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6170

so how far should i delete to? the cache folder, the mods folder? what didi u do? i deleted what was in the cache, then it didnt work so i deleted the cache...no workie :?:

ok my computer guy fixed it he said the patch messed it up, could this be possible?
