Global Conflict

Ok here is the deal, I installed the last patch but then the game said i had an older version then the server whenever i tried joining a game. So i said F it and reinstalled the game. Now it wont even start up, when i open the game it shows the boot screen then the screen goes black like its starting to load then it just goes back to desktop. I have reinstalled the game three times now and it just does the same thing. Any suggestions would be great, Thanks.

Try downloading the patch again and retry

You forcing refresh rates?

something to do with it not completly de-installing it when it installs it?? Is there still a BF2 folder after you un-install before re-installing?

Latests drivers?

I figured it out. Somthing to do with the registry. I unstalled, deleted everything for EA in the registry and reinstalled and it works now. thanks for the suggestions.
