Well, disabling the intro-movies is as easy as it allways was with EA-games.. But someone know how to disable the start up message from EA?
I`m quite sure i've read about that but can`t remember where.. google wasn't helpful here..

I think you just have to go to the "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2" folder and rename the "movies" folder to something else (can be anything). This will disable all the movies, including the background on the main screen. Presumably, you can just remove the intro by deleting/moving that file from the folder.

go to your battlefield 2\mods\bf2\movies folder and delete anything except the "menu.bik" and the "menu_loggedin.bik"
and voila........ no more intro movies or ea logo!

You can't get rid of the popup without breaking punkbuster. Thats the last word i heard on this one. I don't mind the popup telling me new stuff. telling me to buy Euro Forces or download and install 1.22 when i already have is just dumb but i guess nothing that EA will care enough about to change :-/
